luc wants me to do stuff on music, but like zappa once said (i think it was zappa), “music journalists are people who can’t write and know nothing about music”. that latter criterion fits me somewhat (i am no journo by a long shot), although i do have a rant once in a while about what i think about music, local or otherwise. i listen to tunes with an open mind (although i don’t listen to R&B as a rule), do play an instrument and i am currently a co-organiser of the upcoming GIG@sheffield. i also write on my blog – stomach of chaos.

i’ll try to think of something to scribble on this site. what aa?

INTEL MACS! Dual core nonetheless =) God im salivating at the thought of a new 1.87GHz Mac Book Pro... 1 Inch thick, Built in Camera, New Magnetic Charger and latch system… up to 4X faster than old Powerbook.. DVD-R +R /DL etc. etc.

Steve Jobs-San has also announced the new iMac... with dual core intel chips too…. Im so getting one to replace my PC…

UPDATE! Microsoft has released an update to address the WMF Vunerability issue. PLEASE UPDATE your computers if you run Windows. A huge Windows vunerability has been found. Black blogs about it here. Can’t be arsed to write a td.com version up. Patch your system temporarily here (verified by Steve Gibson of the Gibson Research Corporation). Lucas you can shaddap coz you use a Mac. Bah!

Woot! Its 2006 already? Pah… time certainly flies.

Things to look for this year: being 23 (iyeeeeerrr… so OLD ah?!), job confirmation (go go BNM!), taking the PPKM exam (licenced dealing FTW!) and good health (must… work… off… those… kgs…)!

And for the record, how did I spend this year’s new year eve? Driving up some bukit in Bangsar with Roz, Fariz, Sal + Angie to watch Bintang Walk and KLCC light up from afar. Shame didn’t take any photos. The mosquitos certainly did have a field day though!
