I’m back from playing World of Warcraft from shifting some of our stuff to Luc’s new house next year. Heavy lifting is a pain in the back. And I still haven’t packed ANY of the stuff from my room yet. The only things that got moved today were kitchen utensils and a copious amount of pots and pans. Heck, we even got one of those kenduri-class metal thinggies you use to mass cook curry in. The living room is still in a mess, and because we have a guest medic staying over before he moves to his new hall at the end of the month things are pretty much chaotic.
Here is Fahmi in suprised mode with the insane amount of junk we just moved:

And before that mess up there ^ accumulated, I was off to Edinburgh! Beautiful city I tell you. The view from Edinburgh castle was purty as you would expect with the rolling hills of Scotland stretching as far the the eye can see. Reminded Rozanna and I of Florence but we concluded that the view from the Italian city was far grander than its Scottish counterpart. Did the usual sights in the city and we took a day tour out to see the rest of the Scottish Highlands going up as far north as Loch Ness. Though we didn’t get to spot Nessie, we managed to cosy up with a beast just the same by the name of Hamish.

Then there was the U2 concert I went to with Nik, Puteri and Rozanna. It was my first ever open air concert so I didn’t know what to expect – like the ridiculous lining up 4 hours before the bloody thing even started. We were quite near the 2nd barrier so we got a good view of the stage. Lucky for us, the 6 footers were waaaay off to the side so our view was quite unrestricted. Although that didn’t stop a few drunken monkeys from trying to push pogo their way to the front during Elevation. Which brings me to wonder why they don’t allow bottled water from being brought into the venue but happily serve beer and allow patrons such as myself be drenched in it. Alcohol + concert = dehydration = stupid. Water = good = Not allowed to be brought in = EH WTFPWN?!

And in other news, I passed my all my papers and will be graduating on the 6th of July! Huzzah! I will be able to happily slap on Reza Baharin, LLB at the back of my name hoho! Here’s to the working world and to whatever it brings – cheers
Have a jolly summer people. I sure as hell will. /me waves goodbye to student life
