Hallu yet again! Hmm, another minor facelift. Just added the tagboard. I think I’ll be needing to change that soon. In terms of “lawaness” of course it looks neat. But where the practical security issues are concerned… that’s a different story.
I guess TD is finally nearing the end of it’s current version. I think as of now, I can be self declared a Imageready supersplicer! Heh.
Must stop thinking of pixels soon…
And oh yeah, the nice icon in the middle is for anyone (Anyone? LOL) who want’s to exchange links.
Another Facelift
— posted at March 28th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogNew Look
— posted at March 27th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogHallu! As you can see, I have devoted quite some time to giving this place a facelift from it’s previous hippie retro look. Well, it’s gory in a somewhat pixelated way; apt for the domain name yes? Heh, I’ll let you decide.
There are a few new things to this update:
1. A REAL Photoblog
Previously, the old Photoblog was just an [iframe] document which required a single file to be overwritten everytime. I shan’t bore you with the technicalities of the rig…
2. Personal pages
Click on the icons below the photolog to see individual bios.
3. Yet to come… Tag board, archive and crony linkage.
Look out for them updates later during the weekend.
Have a fun Easter ppl. I know I won’t be relaxing until another week! Damned University Term Times!
If I Was A Blogger…
— posted at March 26th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogHehe… double post today. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
If I was a blogger, I’d be blogging bullshit. And how issit I have come to this conclusion? I AM A BLOGGER blogging about bullshit.
There are blog owners that write essay entries almost everyday. Then there are design weblogs that showcase art rather than the blog entries. Sometimes the entries are bland, telling readers, “Oh today I had a manicure!” or something similar to that effect. Sometimes they are over descriptive that they border on the utterly boring. I mean, who wants to read about what you had for breakfast today?
Then there are blogs that are diaries. Hmm, these are sometimes interesting… cuz you can read some pretty the slutty stuff about people. Ironically, these ppl can actually be ppl you know in real life!
And then there are can whores. Yah, girls who parade them b(0)(0)bies for cash over paypal or wishlists over amazon. Hey, ppl actually pay (not me!), but I can’t really verify if they actually reciprocate their end of the bargain to show a bit of skin :P
I am a bored blogger. Nothing else to do but to critisize other ppl. Hmm… I wonder what this blog is then?
a dead blog
Har har!
BTW, Lucas aka 13 is off to Outward Bound School. I’m sure he’ll be back with some nice photos for the photoblog and a well needed substantive long post.
/me wonders, who reads this blog anyway?
On a Lighter Note
— posted at March 26th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogOk. The past few posts have been about griefing over strangers living in the desert. I know the topic sez, “on a lighter note” but don’t expect to find a pr0n update (like the upskirt one) here either :P
Apparently Easter is around the corner. Some blokes are already on holiday (hello Warwick and Notts), and some still have 2 more weeks to go (hello bloody farking Manchester) before the hols kick in. Will probably be flying off to Frankfurt, but in light of the mystery flu and the war, really not sure I’ll be going. OK ah, as a consolation my plane fare wasn’t exactly the most expensive plane ticket – 99p kekeke! But together with airport tax and everything, the total cost amounts to abt 20+ Still, what a steal!
I’m bored. I guess my niche in all of this is getting the blog up and running, and not the actual act of blogging itself :(
Next version up by tomorrow. I hope. Something more morbid that’s for sure haha! Pixel skulls coming your way… muahahahaha.
It doesn’t matter

World Obliteration I
— posted at March 19th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogI, do not share my blogmate’s view’s on the (upcoming) war between the USA and Britain against Iraq. This, is very interesting because it is very rare that you get a single blog running two opposite ideas side by side, or in this case, up and down. In a law lecture we had the other day, the whole lecture hall got into ‘quite the discussion’ about this matter and what was said during the commotion I think begs mention here:
“... the killing of innocent civilians and children.”
– one student on reasons she opposes the war
The reality of war is that innocents are the first to go when war breaks out. Civility and all that it means to be human ceases to exist.
But try to reconcile the death of innocents in the massacres of Kurdish people by Saddam’s regime and you have a monster no different than that of that mad Kraut in WWII.
“Blair is in a fix because he lacks the support of Europe and by not allying himself with the USA, [he doesn’t have anybody else!]”
– one student on why Britain must go to war
Well, the ‘discussion’ we had in law class was more on whether British interventionism was necessary when there is no (clear) direct threat by Iraq onto British interests. As civilians, I think one needs more information (perhaps even classified info) to ascertain the rationale behind this justification though.
To me, this war just seems to be POTUS’ desire to finish the job that his father left undone, and Tony Blair is the lackey who doesn’t want to be left alone – reminiscent of kindergarten playtime days: “I dowan to be your friend anymore…”
What I don’t bloody understand is that if this war is about three men: Saddam and his two sons, and the US has ultra-super-duper high tech weaponry and ultra-super-duper trained soldiers… why can’t they just send some bugger into Baghdad and surgically remove the thorns from their sides?
Certainly this means that there is more than meets the eye to this war (how cliche).
I think the prospect of possible retaliation by Iraq, no matter how remote, invites a much more terrifying outcome.
World War III
— posted at March 19th, 2003 by luc in BlogI am SICK and tired of people critisizing GW Bush the POTUS, for his supposed ‘CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY’ GASP For allegedly being completely bellicose and wanting war for just one reason, Oil.
Look at France! Jacques Ch”IRAQ” stood firm by his stance that WAR IS NOT AN OPTION! UN SECURITY THIS…. VETO THAT…. But France is NOT going to war coz They have like ties with our friend Saddam going back… way back… Besides they have a multi billion dollar oil contract! Whos in it for the oil now?
In Short… Good on Bush… Good on Blair, And good on Howard… Saddam is a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER! Go in, kill the bastard and get the hell out of there!
DON’T STOP THE WAR! JUST SHORTEN IT!

Kill the bastard Saddam. Kill him FAST!
Updating Again
— posted at March 17th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogGoing through a minor reboot here. Well, technically not a reboot, cuz this page is still standing. Just say it’s a makeover. Yeah, a makeover to make this place, less hippy and a wee bit more morbid perhaps in line with the URL? Har har!
On another subject, today’s weather was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining and you got them ppl lying down in the middle of the fields at uni enjoying the sunshine (what else). Hey, some lecturers had even tutorials outside!
As for me, my exam results are due tomorrow and what am I doing? Haha! Webpage makeovers…
Hrmph!

The Gay Layout
— posted at March 16th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogAs for the layout, I like it. If there are things to complain about, it’s the stinking pattern of flowers. It’s NOT flowers. It’s japanesey tiles. I’ll be on a quest soon though… to look out for flaming skulls or anything of the morbid sort.
Looks around for skull sharpnel…
Hah! It works!
— posted at March 16th, 2003 by zaaba in BlogHehehe… welcome to truedeath.com Yes yes yes, I know this place isn’t fully up yet, but at least it’s taking shape! I’ll be adding more and more sections to this place when I finally get the time. At the moment, I should be techically preparing for my Criminal law seminar and an essay due this afternoon! Or, better still, devote my time to call my gf!
Hahaha… talk about priorities. Screwed up indeed.
Test test again…
